Warren County YMCA CEO Sam Brooks Provides Update

Share

The Warren County YMCA remains temporarily closed during the Stay at Home order through the end of April. The staff has taken this time to deep clean the Y and update certain areas. CEO Sam Brooks states work is still being done on the outdoor pool amid some slowdowns:

“When the order came from the Governor on March 18th, the YMCA did not provide any type of directive for the crew to keep working. It was entirely up to them. For the most part is has kept going, I mean, there have been some slowdowns. That is something that was going to be expected and we are hoping it doesn’t push back the completion at all. If so, not too much,” Brooks reports.

Brooks says whenever the Stay at Home order is lifted the YMCA will be ready to open their doors and follow any restrictions that may or may not be in place.
