The Market Facilitation Programs available for farmers have been extremely important in assisting with operations, says Compeer Financial Officer Brian Postin:
“In the last year, we had basically enabled a large number of our clients to go from losing money to breaking even, or a slight profit. It’s what enabled a lot of people to keep their head above water. Those were very vital programs for our farmers,” Postin shares.
Postin states several clients have applied to the Payroll Protection Program during these unprecedented times and Compeer has processed around 80 applications.
