Charsti Ann Brandon, 42, passed away May 16, 2020.

Charsti was born on August 25, 1977 in Galesburg, the daughter of Gary L. and Heather J. (MacDonald) Brandon.  As a lifelong resident of Galesburg, Brandon was known and loved by many.  She is survived by her two children, Emma Allen and Alexander Allen both of Galesburg; her mother, Heather Fenoglia of Galesburg; and her brother, Nicholas Brandon of Fort Gibson, OK.  She was preceded in death by her father and her unborn child.

Brandon had many accomplishments in life, but one she was most proud of was earning her nursing degree.  She helped many people through not only her work in nursing homes and hospitals, but also everyday life.  She was a loving and devoted mother; a loyal and solid friend, and an all-around passionate person.  Her life’s road had many bumps, including a series of strokes that hindered her career but not her spirit.  Through all her life’s struggles she held on to the fire burning in her and never let it go out.  She will always be loved, missed, and mourned by many for years to come.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  Private family services will be held.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to the family in c/o Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, 1849 N. Seminary ST., Galesburg, IL 61401.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com
