Cindy Lee Hensley, 62, of Wataga, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at home.

Cindy was born October 17, 1957 in Galesburg, the daughter of Sherrow Lee and Carolyn (Miles) Kirk.  Cindy is survived by her mother; one son, Lucas Ingram of Galesburg; one daughter, Leah (Jose) Reina) Hensley of Barcelona, Spain; and three grandchildren, Xana, Ingrid, and Alfonso Reina.  Cindy is also survived by one sister, Tamara (Peter) Moser of Geneseo; and two brothers, Scott Kirk of Milwaukee, WI and Tony (Lisa) Kirk of Oak Park.  Along with her father, Cindy was preceded in death by one daughter, Carrie Jane Hensley and one son, Coleman Hensley.

Cindy worked at J.C. Penney for over 20 years.  She later worked at Spudos, and was currently working in the bakery at Wal-Mart.  Cindy loved cooking, baking, sewing, and tending to her garden.  She attended Rio Presbyterian Church and Wataga Congregational Church.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic services will be held at a later date.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.watsonthomas.com
