Slowly but surely different programs and outdoor recreational sites are opening back up with the Galesburg Parks and Rec. Recreation Supervisor Chelsea Moberg reports the Allison Campground will be opening back up as well as Bunker Links golf course will be switching over to offer foursomes. Moberg also shares they are transitioning to in person programs again:

“Our nature camp program, which is for ages four to nine, we are going to still be holding those starting June 10th and they will be in person. We are going to have them out at various locations around Lake Storey. Registration is going for those. We have a pre-school program that we have been doing for our nature center and we are switching back to doing in person for that. We have switched down to only four registrants attending, so that will be the first Friday in June and we are taking registrations for that. It is only $5. They get to come out and have an hour of nature time, hiking, story time, and social distance interacting,” Moberg says.
