Monmouth College Football Head Coach Chad Braun Excited About 2020 Class Amid Recruiting Challenges

Share

College recruiting for the 2020-2021 school year has been a new challenge this year. With the COVID-19 pandemic and sheltering in place order, coaches are unable to get out and meet with high school athletes in person and show them around college campuses before committing. Given the circumstances and different challenges during this recruitment season, Monmouth College Head Football Coach Chad Braun feels very good about the incoming 2020 class:

“Both offensive and defensive line we feel are a really, really strong class. Our coaching staff has done and outstanding job recruiting. We have a few spots we really need to finish up still. Have a little bit of work to do in our secondary. We have a veteran secondary coming back, but we are looking to the future all the time, so that is one area we need to finish up in this recruiting class a little bit,” Braun states.

Braun will be entering his 6th season as Head Coach for the Fighting Scots, who completed the 2019 season with a record of 7 wins and 3 losses.
