MPD Chief Joe Switzer Encourages All to Remain Personally Responsible

Share

Since the coronavirus pandemic began, Monmouth Police Chief Joe Switzer states it has been a personal responsibility to care for yourself and be mindful of others, especially when more businesses begin to open back up:

“What everyone should be thinking about is the personal responsibility aspect of it as social distance. If you are going to be in an area, social distance from somebody, wear a mask when you are near people, keep washing your hands, and I think everything will be okay,” Switzer says.

Switzer reports only a few complaints have been received about whether a business had to shut down or not, which is then forwarded to the Health Department to address the issue.
