Prudence Grace Smith, infant daughter of Josh & Ginger Smith of Monmouth, IL, passed away on May 19,2020 at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, IA.
She was born at 8:38 a.m., Tuesday, May 19th, 2020. at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, IA. She weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces and was 18.25 inches long.
Prudence’s family was blessed with nine hours with her before she went to her heavenly home. She was held in love every moment of her precious life. Prudence experienced hugs and kisses from her siblings and grandmother, listening to her song, Dear Prudence, and being told “I love you” an uncountable number of times. Her day was full of nothing but love, tenderness, and peacefulness. She slipped gracefully from her mommy and daddy’s hands right into the arms of Jesus.
Prudence is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy, big brother Jude, big sister Emma, her grandparents, her great-grandparents, her aunts and uncles, her cousins, and so many others. Prudence will always remain her parents’ precious baby girl and Emma and Jude’s little sister, and they will hold her again in heaven one day.
