Catherine E. (Holford) Snodgrass

Catherine E. (Holford) Snodgrass, age 92, formerly of Kirkwood, Illinois
passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Catherine was born on
March 24, 1928 in Warren County, and is the daughter of Paul and Mary
(Lewis) Holford. On April 25, 1948 she married Robert K. Snodgrass, who
preceded her in death in 2008. She and Bob enjoyed traveling, camping,
and especially summers at Young’s Lake near Kirkwood, Illinois.

She is survived by three sons, R.Michael (Linda Shores) Snodgrass of Grand
Haven, MI, R. Daniel (Karen) Snodgrass of Brandon, FL, and Ronald P.
(Cindy Miller) Snodgrass of Kalamazoo, MI. There are four grandchildren,
Rick (Mary) Snodgrass of Brandon, FL. Amber (Adam) Brasher of
Louisville, KY, Jesse (Melissa) Michmerhuizen of Libertyville, IL, and
Katie Snodgrass of GrandHaven, MI. and four great grandchildren, Daniel,
Dylan, Sophie and McKenna. Catherine’s sister, Marge (John) Miller
survives in West Salem, WI. She is preceded in her death by her parents,
husband, three brothers, David, Delwin,, and Donald Holford and one
sister, Joyce Alcorn.

Cremation has been accorded. and a graveside memorial service is scheduled for June 27, 2020 at 11:00 am at Center Grove Cemetery in Kirkwood, Illinois.  Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois is in charge of her care.
