Patricia Emaline Motz, 84, of Galesburg, died peacefully at home at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020.

Patricia was born February 13, 1936 in Yates City, the daughter of Ray and Sarah (Hedden) German.  She married Clarence R. Kiddy, Sr. in 1961 in Peoria.  They had two children, Clarence “Ray” (Angela Beutel) Kiddy, Jr. of Pekin; and Debra Trigger who preceded Patricia in death on January 28, 2019.  Clarence Sr. died in 1980.  Patricia later married Charles Motz.  Along with her son Ray, Patricia is survived by two grandchildren, Joni Trigger and Wayne Trigger; and four great grandchildren, Madison Trigger, Chadrick Olson, Alexander Trigger, and Zachary Trigger.  Along with Clarence Sr. and Debra, Patricia was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and a grandson, Braydan Kiddy.

Patricia worked for almost 30 years at Kroger Grocery in the Peoria area, retiring in 1988.  She loved her dog Buster and spending time at home with her family.

Cremation will be accorded.  No services are planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made in Patricia’s memory to the Knox County Humane Society.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.

Tax Levy Passed by M-R Board of Education

The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has passed their Tax Levy, which Superintendent Ed Fletcher expects the rate to be very similar: “I’m certain it is going to be very similar
