Warren County Finance Committee Discuss Ideas Amid Pandemic Revenue Losses

Share

The Warren County Finance Committee met recently to discuss the revenue losses expected due to the pandemic and hash out ideas to continue to pay bills, says Chairman Mike Pearson:

“There is still a lot of discussion. There are no ideas that have come to fruition at this point and time. We are looking at everything across the board. As things get back to normal and all the offices in the Courthouse get back to going, the courts will be opening and there will be a lot of activity in the courts and with all probability within the jail,” Pearson reports.

No action was taken on any matters as discussion will continue with the Finance Committee.

The Illinois Department of Revenue will make announcements to municipalities regarding income tax, sales tax, reimbursements, and ongoing revenues on June 16th.
