Bears’ Eddie Goldman Opts Out Of 2020 Season

Share

The Bears will be without Eddie Goldman this year after he opted out of the 2020 season due to health concerns related to the coronavirus. Goldman has been a staple on Chicago’s defensive line since he entered the league as a second-round draft pick in 2015. The 26-year-old nose tackle has started 63 games for the Bears over the past five seasons, recording twelve and a half sacks. Goldman signed a four-year extension with Chicago prior to the 2018 season that contained 25-million-dollars in guarantees.
