Howard Andrew “Skip” Duncan, III, 60, of Galesburg, died in his home on July 9, 2020.

He was born on February 16, 1960 to Howard “Sonny” and Patricia Duncan.

Skip graduated from Galesburg High School and attended Carl Sandburg College. He was a longtime member of Bethesda Baptist Church of Galesburg.

Skip is survived by his siblings Kathie L. (Duncan) Reed of Iowa, Davonne R. Duncan of New Jersey, Tara (Duncan) Main of Galesburg; Andrew (Jennifer) Johnson of Colorado, Steve Coleman of Galesburg; William Coleman of Iowa, Stephanie (Paul) Randolph of Indiana and Debra (Benny) Reynold of Arizona.  He is also survived by his step mother, Avis Duncan; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father Sonny; his mother and step father Patricia and Morris Coleman; and siblings Morris Coleman, Jr., Ronald “Rondoo” Coleman, and Sherry Coleman.

Cremation will be accorded.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Due to social distancing requirements surrounding COVID-19 no public service will take place.  No monetary donations are being accepted by the family; however memorials may be made in Skip’s memory to the American Heart Association.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com
