Janice M. Bullwinkle, 91, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 7:40 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Roseville Rehab & Healthcare, Roseville, IL. 

She was born on November 5, 1928 in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Joel and Minnie (Hall) Johnson.  Janice was raised and educated in Monmouth and graduated from Monmouth High School in 1946. 

Janice married Howard J. Bullwinkle on November 22, 1947 in Monmouth, IL at their home; he preceded her in death in January of 2005. 

Janice worked for several years as a legal secretary for Judge Louie Murphy and later for Larry & Marcum Spears at Spears & Spears in Monmouth.  She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends.  Janice was a cat lover.  She always enjoyed her Iris.  Janice was a member of First United Methodist Church for over 80 years. 

Surviving Janice are her children, Cassie (Donnie) Decker and Mike Bullwinkle both of Monmouth, IL; two grandchildren, Rachel (Scott Weber) Morefield of Monmouth, IL, and Rob (Christine) Decker of Brandon, FL; four great grandchildren, Marcus Morefield, Brady Morefield, Danielle Wiles, and Michael Bartolazzi.

Preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Howard Bullwinkle, one brother, Richard Johnson. Graveside Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, IL.  Friends may call during the day on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorials to Western Illinois Animal Rescue.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
