Marilyn A. Talbott, age 82, of Sacramento, California; passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2020 at her residence in Sacramento, California. Marilyn was born on December 23, 1937 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Riley and Leona Hodges Talbott. Marilyn was raised in the Little York area and attended Old Number 1 country school. She graduated from Little York High School in 1956 and then completed beauty school in Moline, Illinois. Marilyn moved to California in the 1960s where she worked in the insurance industry for several years. She then was employed as a clerical at Edward Air Force Base where she worked for twenty-five years until her retirement. Marilyn has always been active in her church. Marilyn loved bowl and has won the Sacramento City Tournament several times. She loved watching sports and was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan and was an avid Boston Celtics fan. She even owned a share of the Boston Celtics Team.

She is survived by her brother, Dean Talbott and his wife,Bonnie of Cambridge, Illinois and her sisters in laws, Doris Talbott of Monmouth, IL. and Diane Talbott in Texas. She is also survived by, and very much loved her nieces and nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Cremation has been accorded in Sacramento, CA and her ashes will be forwarded to Illinois. A memorial service is being planned by her family at a later date. Interment of her ashes will be in the Little York Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established by her family. Turnbull Funeral Home is in care of her cremated remains locally.
