Martha E. Wicks, 94, of Roseville, IL formerly of Monmouth, IL passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, 11:48 p.m. at the Roseville Rehab and Health Care Center.  She was born Thursday, May 13, 1926 in Macomb, IL the daughter of Ross C. and Ellen V. (Williams) Lefler.  She married Dwayne Wicks on February 16, 1944; he preceded her in death in March of 1985.

Martha is survived by her children, Shirley Oberly of Eldridge, IA, Gary Wicks of Rio, Ronald Wicks of Galesburg, Dale Wicks of Mississippi, Lola Mackey of Monmouth, and Earl Wicks of Oquawka; 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren; one brother Jerry Dale, two sisters, Ona Mae and Aileen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, 1 grandson, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Martha loved to cook and go to yard sales.  She loved riding in the semi-truck with her husband  She also collected hoot owls.  She loved having her family around her.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020, 1:00, p.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL. Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery Monmouth, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the Martha Wick Memorial Fund.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
