Mike Ditka Says People Who Kneel Should “Leave The Country”

Share

Former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka is causing a stir because of his latest comments. Ditka told TMZ Sports Sunday that his women’s pro football league, the X League, kneeling during the national anthem won’t be allowed if it’s up to him. He went further than that, saying, “If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country.” However, the 80-year-old admits he doesn’t have the final say to as whether or not the league will have a policy about kneeling. The new league, which will feature eight teams, is slated to kick off in April.
