New Bakery Owner Allison Padgett Excited to Create Sweet Treats Once Again

Share

The Flourpot Bakery, located at 61 Public Square in downtown Monmouth, has reopened for business after temporarily closing due to the pandemic. Owner Allison Padgett is excited to bring her customers cakes, cupcakes, and cookies once again:

“When we decided to close up, I took the opportunity to redo a lot of things in the shop and take some time and spend it with my family. That part I enjoyed. Things slowed down for a little while, but I was glad to have the opportunity to improve what I already have. As far as opening back up after it, it has been a little bit slower, but I know we will work our way back up to the place we need to be,” Padgett says.

The Flourpot is open Wednesday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.
