Monmouth College remains fundamentally strong, but they are facing budget issues like man colleges and universities across the nation according to President Clarence Wyatt:

“We have seen that recover, but like any other college and university in the country, we are facing budget issues. We have done some significant budget reduction and have some more to do. We have done some staff reduction and have some more to do. We are hoping that we will achieve most of the remainder of what we need to do through some retirement incentives. Monmouth College is a fundamentally strong institution. We have a solid endowment, but you never have a big enough endowment,” states Dr. Wyatt.

Monmouth’s 2020 fall semester is scheduled to begin August 18th. Fall classes will end November 24th with finals being administered remotely after Thanksgiving.
