Peggy M. Johnson, 68, of Galesburg, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at home.

She was born June 24, 1952, in Galesburg, the daughter of Clark and Delorse (Horn) Rosenberry.  She married Bobby Johnson, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her companion of over 20 years, Charles Anderson; a daughter, Tammy (Chris) Brazee of Wataga; a grandson, Trevor Campbell; three sisters, Linda Jennings, Vera Rosenberry, and Georgia Bell, all of Galesburg; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Danny Rosenberry; and a sister, Marlene Allen.

Peggy was a homemaker.  She lived a simple life, enjoying caring for her family.  Peggy loved knitting, especially making winter booties for her family.  She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  Graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at East Linwood Cemetery.  Rev. Russ Witkowski will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
