Zaya Roseanne Lamb, age 2, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 5:38 PM
on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria,
Illinois. She was born March 26, 2018 in Galesburg, Illinois, the
daughter of Randy Lee and Sarah Elizabeth (Ponder) Lamb. Zaya loving and
motherly to her parents and family, and loved helping her parents around
the house.

Zaya is survived by her parents Randy and Sarah Lamb of Monmouth, four
brothers; Jordan, Gunner, Braxton, and Hunter Lamb, her Maternal
grandmother, Eva Ponder of Monmouth and her maternal grandfather,
Douglas Ponder in Peoria, Illinois. Her paternal grandparents, Clarence
and Lacie Lamb in Galesburg, Illinois, her maternal great grandmother,
Bonnie Shamblin and paternal great uncle Jim Lamb of Galesburg,
Illinois. She is also survived by a number of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces,
Nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in her death by her
paternal grandmother, her uncle Seth Ponder, and Velma and Clarence Lamb.

Zaya is in the care of Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, and cremation
is to be accorded. There is no visitation or viewing being planned, but
a celebration of Zaya’s life is planned by her parents on Saturday July
25, 2020 at 2:00 pm at their residence at 1002 South C Street in
Monmouth, IL Friends and family are invited and social distancing is to
be accorded.  A memorial fund is being established by her family. To
