Three Henderson County Board Members and a Warren County Alderman endorsed Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) for re-election. The local leaders cited Cheri’s ability to listen to hardworking families in their communities and fight for the kitchen-table issues most important to them, such as access to affordable, quality health care and protecting Social Security.
“She’s very understanding and has always treated us right, here in Henderson County,” said Henderson County Board Member Richard “Tex” Stewart.
“Cheri cares about the elderly and the young,” said Henderson County Board Member Richard Bigger, Jr. “She’s got compassion. She really takes care of all her people. She fights for health care and Social Security, and issues that matter to working families in our counties.”
“I am honored to receive the support of committed public servants like Richard, Patty, Richard and Bob, all of whom have been strong partners for our communities,” Congresswoman Bustos said. “Each of these leaders work around the clock to make Warren and Henderson Counties a better place to live and work as we respond to this public health crisis and work to rebuild. I will continue to do everything in my power to deliver for hardworking Illinoisans at the federal level. I thank them for their support and partnership.”
