Glen Ola Gorsche was born February 8, 1926, in Augusta, Iowa, to Albert
and Helen (Hunter) Gorsche,  the oldest of a family of 11 children. She
entered her heavenly rest on August 26, 2020, in Muscatine, Iowa.
Growing up, Glen Ola attended Keithsburg and Bluffdale country schools
in Illinois. She married John Marion Boyd in 1942 and they had a
daughter, Marion Ilona. Glen Ola and John Marion later parted ways. She
married Russell Ray in 1946 and they became parents of three sons,
Charles Russell, Glen Gerald (Jerry), and Roger Duane. She and Russell
later divorced. Glen Ola married Richard Lee in 1966.

Over her lifetime, Glen Ola was a homemaker, excellent cook, and worked
at the Burlington, Iowa, hospital, Sickel’s Laundry in Burlington, and
for Henderson County (Illinois) Home Health. Her family, including
siblings and their families, were important to her. Glen Ola enjoyed
reading and collecting recipes, watching westerns, playing bingo, and
family reunions. She was a woman of faith.

Glen Ola was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helen Gorsche,
stepfather Ed Huss, Sr., a stillborn child, daughter Marion Ilona Stout,
husband Richard Lee, and siblings Jerry Lee, Jim, Clayton, Nate, and
Lyle Huss, along with sisters Gladys, Georgia Kenny, and Gail Furnald.

nephews, extended family, and friends. Stepson Rick (Sue) Lee of DuBois,
Wyoming, and their children and families also survive her.

Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Biggsville Township Cemetery. No
