Jacqueline H. Self-Hanley, 48, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 8:07 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2020 at her home.

She was born on February 17, 1972 in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Clifford “Tiny” Fye and Linda (Albert) Barker.  Jacqueline lived in Monmouth in her younger years, her family moved to Texas where she finished school and graduated from Odessas High School in 1991. 

She married Todd Hanley on February 29, 2020, in Monmouth, IL; he survives. 

Jacqueline moved back to Monmouth after graduating high school, where she lived and worked the rest of her life.  She enjoyed helping others when she could.  Most of all, she loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and family. 

Surviving Jacqueline is her husband, Todd Hanley of Monmouth, IL; two children, Shieann (Jonathan Penny) Self of Monmouth, IL, Patrick (Brittany) Fye of Monmouth, IL; her grandchildren, Jordan, Jasmyn, and unborn Nova Reign.  Also surviving is her mother, Linda (Albert) Barker of Monmouth, IL; her father, Tiny (June) Fye of Olsburg, KS; four sisters, Deneil (Bill) Inman of Monmouth, IL, Sandra Barker of Monmouth, IL, Ellen Robertson of Prophetstown, IL, Joy (David) Fye of Olsburg, KS; one brother, William (Frances) Fye of Burlington, IA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cecil & Libby Albert and paternal grandparents, Sam & Frances Fye; uncles, aunts, two great nieces, and close friend, Eric.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Danny’s Tap side room, Monmouth, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials may be given to the Jacqueline Self Memorial fund and sent to the funeral Home. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.
