The United Red Storm boys golf remained undefeated on the season with a pair of wins over Kewanee and Annawan/Wethersfield at Kewanee Dunes in Kewanee. The Red Storm shot a team total of 181, beating Kewanee by five strokes and Wethersfield by 24 strokes. Drew Brown was the meet medalist with a 1-over par 37. He was joined by Caleb Copeland and Parker Cassidy’s 47’s and Kittner McVey’s 50.

The United girls golf team went (1-1) at the Dunes. The Red Storm ladies lost to Kewanee and beat Annawan/Wethersfield. United shoots a team score of 239, led by Paige McKeown’s 9-hole score of 50. Kewanee totaled 210 and A/W carded a team score of 292. Kewanee’s Mya Mirocha was the meet medalist with a 39. Haley Marshall shot a 60, Becca Merry shot a 61 and Addy Trego had a 70 to round out the scoring for United.

The Mercer County girls golf team went (3-0) vs. Princeville, Williamsfield and Mid County at Oak Run Golf Course yesterday. The Golden Eagles shot a team score of 183, followed by Mid County’s 220, Princeville’s 221 and Williamsfield’s 241. Kristian Snowdon and Mia Hillyer tied for meet medalist honors with matching 44’s. Callie Siering shot a 47 and Emma Saltzman recorded a 48 to contribute to Mercer County’s winning team total. Faith Erlacher led Mid County with a 53. Bridget Gilroy carded a 46 to lead Princeville and Emily Little’s 56 was the lowest Williamsfield score.
