Miss Michelle Lynn Ambrosius, 43, of Galesburg, Illinois died 7:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 at Marigold Health Care Center, Galesburg. 

She was born January 7, 1977 in Macomb, Illinois to Jerry D. and Shirley A. (Moats) Ambrosius. 

Surviving is her mother, Shirley A. Ambrosius of Galesburg, her father, Jerry D. Ambrosius of Knoxville, a son, Devin Michael Tacket of Galesburg, and a sister, Angela Dawn Ambrosius of Galesburg.  She is preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Lee Ambrosius. 

Michelle attended Knoxville schools but graduated from Galesburg High School in 1996.  She worked for Galesburg Cottage Hospital in the dietary department.  She later worked for Doors Home Assistant Aid in Galesburg.  She enjoyed crafts, flowers and surfing the internet, especially sharing on Facebook.  She loved hiking and exploring with her family in several state parks. 

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.  Pastor Mary Runge will officiate.  Memorials may be made to Discovery Depot in Galesburg.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
