Monmouth-Roseville School District will begin their first day of remote learning and attendance on August 24th.  Chromebooks have been handed out to students this week and online registration is currently in the process.  Superintendent Ed Fletcher says the District is moving ahead and been able to plan all summer in preparation for remote learning 2.0 and parents can plan on structure on a daily basis:

“Remote learning 2.0 is going to be completely different. Teachers have worked very hard. All summer long the administrators have worked very hard all summer long. Is it going to be the same? No it is not going to be the same as sitting in a classroom, but if you like structure, you can have your children, if they are old enough, they can do it on their own and can log in and see teachers and see kids everyday on a regular basis. It is just on a computer,” Fletcher reports.

School begins at 8:10 a.m. and students will be required to log on and attend.  A parent website is also in the process of being developed to assist families with more information for each grade level and school building.
