California Man Arrested at Galesburg Amtrak Station

On Thursday September 17, 2020, The Knox County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the AMTRAK Police and the Galesburg Police Department (K9 Zeus). An investigation was conducted at the Galesburg Amtrak train station and seized approximately 12,987 grams (approximately 28.6 pounds) of cannabis.

Michael Davis, 60 years of age, Address: 2934 ½ N. Beverly Glen Circle Apt 771, Los Angeles, CA 90077 was arrested for the following charges:

(1) Possession with intent to deliver over 5,000 grams of cannabis
(2) Cannabis Trafficking

Davis was taken into custody and is being held at the Knox County Jail awaiting bond.

Anyone arrested is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
