Debbie Brentise, 59, of Galesburg, IL formerly of Ft. Worth, TX passed away at 12:33 am, Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her home.

Debbie was born on July 19, 1961 in Lubbock, TX, the daughter of Henry and Connie Gomez.  She was raised and educated in Washington state. 

Debbie married Rick Brentise on June 21, 2016 in Ft. Worth, TX; he survives. 

Debbie worked as a real estate agent for a number of years in Texas.  She later worked as a medical billing specialist.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, traveling, doing crafts, and going to the movies.  Most of all, Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going to family get togethers. 

Surviving Debbie is her husband, Rick Brentise of Galesburg, IL; her children, Anthony Bernal of Ft. Worth, TX, Millie Quiles of New Jersey, Gloria Glover of Florida, Connie (Michael) Ogrodowicz of Sugarland, TX; two step daughters, Crystal (Kyle) Brewer Bushnell, IL, Rebecca (Anthony) Presley of Abingdon, IL; mother-in-law, Jackie Brentise of Monmouth, IL; her brothers, Henry Gomez of Washington state and Anthony Gomez of Kansas; her sisters, Becky Gomez-Alford of Florida and LeAnn Castillo of Ft. Worth, TX.  Also surviving are several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. 

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.  The funeral service will be live streamed on the McGuire & Davies Funeral Home Facebook page at the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Debbie Brentise Memorial Fund. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL is in charge of the arrangements. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and requirements, all attendees are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
