The annual Doggie Jog hosted by the Knox County Humane Society will be a Doggie Car Ride this Saturday, September 12th, to comply with social distancing, says Director Erin Buckmaster:

“We will have it out at the shelter. You can come drive thru our parking lot, come to the back of the shed, and we will have treats for your dog, a packet for you, a t-shirt, and then you go around the alley to drive out. Rick Cross will be taking pictures of you and your pet. Every dog likes a car ride. If you don’t have a dog, maybe you want to bring a goat, or cat, anything will do. Nobody is going to have to worry about being able to walk their dogs. I think it is going to be a fun event,” shares Buckmaster.

The Doggie Car Ride drive thru event will take place from 10 am to 1 pm.
