Evaleen Carrico, 94, of Monmouth, Il formerly of Roseville, IL passed away at 1:06 am, Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Roseville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Roseville, IL.
Evaleen was born March 13, 1926 in Ozark, Illinois the daughter of Clyde Hobert and Lillian (Keener) Bundren. She was raised and educated in Abingdon, IL and Burlington, IA.
Evaleen married Arthur Francis Carrico in Bushnell, IL on October 16, 1948 and he passed away July 15, 1985.
Evaleen’s family was her life. She enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling and eating out with her family.
Survivors include her 5 children, Terry (Norma) Carrico of Roseville, IL, Linda (Fred) Cundiff of Roseville, IL, Mike Carrico of Davenport, IA, Donna (Randy) Chesnut of Galesburg, IL and Patti Randolph of Galesburg, IL; 9 grandchildren, Ed Cundiff, Kevin (Sara) Cundiff, Tori (Brian) Kelly, Nathan (Angela) Trimble, Emily Trimble, Travis (Tara) Carrico, Mona (Kurt) Douglas, Adam Chesnut and Thomas (Joy) Chesnut; 13 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert (Ruth) Bundren of Galesburg, IL; several nieces and nephews, along with lifelong friend Natalie Wright of Abingdon, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandson, Jace Carrico; 2 brothers, Laverne Bundren and Ellis Bundren; 4 sisters, Pauline Shaver, Hazel Hagge, Helen Atwater and Katherine Bowling.Graveside interment services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Roseville Cemetery. No visitation hours are planned. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memory of Jace Carrico and sent to the funeral home.
