Henderson County Deputy makes drug arrest after spotting speeding vehicle

Henderson County Sheriff Don Seitz reports on 09/08/2020 at 9:41PM, Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Russell L. Marsh of Gilson, IL, age: 52

and Courtny Lampkins of Macomb, IL, age: 36,

both for Obstructing Justice and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to deliver.   

While on routine patrols, a Henderson County Deputy observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop on US Rt. 34 near Bogus Hollow in the Township of Gladstone. After a search of the vehicle, deputies located two pounds of marijuana.

Both Marsh and Lampkin were transported to the Henderson County Jail by Henderson County Deputies, where they were processed and then jailed awaiting an appearance in front of a judge for a bond hearing.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
