MPD Investigators Seize Marijuana Sent Through US Postal Service

In the recent Monmouth Police Department monthly report given to City Council, a promotional list for the position of Sergeant has been established and MPD Investigators assisted in a drug investigation, informs Director of Information Technology Ken Helms:

“Investigators assisted with a drug investigation that started in another state. That was where three pounds of marijuana was being sent through the United States Postal Service and they ended up seizing the package here in Monmouth,” Helms shares.
