Over 6,000 Vote by Mail Applications Sent to Warren County Voters

Tina Conard, Warren County Clerk and Recorder has mailed out 6,000 applications for a mail-in ballot to registered voters.  So far, 1300 residents have requested a mail -in ballot.  Conard explains how you can request or download an application to vote in the November 3rd general election.

“I was required to send out vote by mail applications, not a ballot, but an application by August 1st to every voter that voted in 2018, 2019, and the March primary. We did that. We sent out over 6,000 applications to vote. We have received over 1,300 back. I just want to clarify, not every registered voter in Warren County got an application to vote. It was only those that voted in those three elections. If you would like to vote by mail, you can call our office at 734-4612 and request one. You can download and complete the vote by mail application that is on our website, http://warrencountyil.com. It is under the documents tab,” Conard reports.

Conard says you can vote by mail, vote early at the Courthouse beginning September 24th or you can go to your polls on election day.  Voter safety logistics will be in place such as plexi-shields, gloves, sanitized ballot pens and you are encouraged to wear a mask.

Conard also says she is looking for election judges and she can be reached at 734 4612.
