Business Owner Justin Lipes Collecting Signatures for Monmouth Mayoral Race

Monmouth Business Owner Justin Lipes is collecting signatures for his petition in an effort to run for the Mayor of Monmouth.  Lipes owns the Tac Shack in Monmouth and is currently completing his master’s degree and was recently promoted in the military.  If elected next April, Lipes says one of his goals for Monmouth is too implement an operation he calls “Project Pride”.

“In Project Pride, it starts with the appearance. When we enter this City, people need to know they are coming into Monmouth. They need to know they are entering a place with a lot of pride and if you are coming here to do something that you shouldn’t or that is going to hurt or affect the pride, or the welfare of the people that live here, then there is going to be consequences obviously. We want people to know when they are driving here we are proud citizens of this City. That needs to be not just through feelings, but it needs to be visual too. People need to see it. We need to really make that happen visually,” Lipes states.

The Monmouth Mayoral race takes place on April 6, 2021.
