Dorothy J Stickell, 90, of Knoxville, IL, passed away Friday October 16, 2020 at Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, Illinois.

She was born August 15. 1930 in Galesburg, the daughter of Lee G. And Minnie Stotts. She married Robert G. Stickell on December 5, 1948. Dorothy attended and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1948. Dorothy loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Knoxville, Illinois. 

Survivors include her son, Steven Stickell, Knoxville; grandsons, Jason (Kimberly) Stickell, Moline, Jeremy (Jessica) Stickell, Albia; 4 great grandchildren, Dustin (Emily) Wyldes, Jennifer, Josie and Janey Stickell; great great grandchildren, Bow, Alissa and Curtis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Lee and Minnie; brother, Richard Stotts; sister in law, Ramona Stickell. 

Private graveside Services will be held on Wednesday October 21, 2020 at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. David Mustain will officiate.  Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Knoxville United Methodist church.
