Investigators Searching for Answers after Man Found Dead in Local Creek in Galesburg

Investigators in Galesburg are looking for answers about a man found dead in a local creek. Officers found William Avery’s body near the Bickerdyke Bridge over the Cedar Fork yesterday morning. There are no answers as to just how Avery ended-up in the water, or how long he’d been there. The Illinois State Police are helping with the case.
