What is your favorite Knox memory?
My favorite Knox memory is beating Illinois College on our Homecoming. The atmosphere of that game was unreal.
What is your favorite all-time memory playing your sport?
All-time would probably go back to my senior year of high school when we won our Quarterfinal game in double overtime to the team that knocked us out of the playoffs the year before.
What do you love most about your sport?
I love the brotherhood that football creates. You become a family.
What do you like least about your sport?
What I like least about football is probably the long bus rides.
Why did you choose Knox?
I chose Knox because of the environment. I knew as soon as I was taking my first tour that I could call this place home for the next four years. The community here is unreal, too. From other students, coaches, and staff, everyone is super friendly.
If you could play any sport (that you do not already play) what would it be?
Honestly this is super tough. I love football, and I don’t think I could pick one. It would have to be an even tie between basketball, baseball, and soccer. Those were the other sports I played in high school and I truly loved playing them. I would say I haven’t lost my love for any of those sports either. I would like to say that though I never ran track, I always wanted to give it a try. It just never worked out with my schedule.
What is your favorite movie?
This is also tough but I’d say maybe Remember the Titans.
What is your favorite band/artist?
I don’t really have a favorite band/artist, but I love Country music.
What is one tip you would give an incoming FY?
It might seem intimidating trying to meet new people at first, but from my experience at Knox, everyone is super friendly. Also, the professors here at Knox care about you. All my professors know my name, and we’ve had plenty of one-on-one conversations. Some of the conversations are about class, but many are just seeing how things are going. They want you to succeed.
