Mrs. Linda K. Myron, 76, of Galesburg, Illinois died 3:51 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. 

She was born September 9, 1944 in Crete, Nebraska to Charles Henry and Eloise LaVerne (Weidner) Williamson.  She married Ralph Myron on June 6, 1999 in Galesburg.  He preceded her in death on April 5, 2008.

Surviving are three brothers, Terry (and Renee) Williamson of North Richland Hills, Texas, Scott (and Cindy) Williamson of Denton, Texas, and Jamie (and Susie) Williamson of San Ramon, California, a sister, Jill Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas, eleven nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Linda graduated from Galesburg High School in 1962.  She later graduated from Brown’s Business College in Galesburg.  She was a business administrator for U Haul Rentals in Arizona.  She was of the Methodist faith.  Linda was an artist at heart.  She enjoyed painting and drawing.  She loved collecting model horses where she would add details with her paint brush.  She obtained her love of horses from when she rode horses as a young girl.  Her love of animals was not limited to horses.  She loved all animals, especially her cats and dogs.  She was also an avid reader and writer. 

Cremation will be accorded.  A private committal service will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg next to her husband and parents.  Memorials may be made to Knox County Humane Society.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
