Into the second quarter of the school year, United West Elementary Principal Patrick Coates states all the staff and students in the building are adapting with the unprecedented circumstances very well:
“We have been quite fortunate. Between our community, our West family, and terrific staff, we have been very fortunate in supporting the kids. The kids themselves have been phenomenal with the mask wearing and sanitation and so forth each day. We are in very good shape,” Coates says.
Thanksgiving break for United begins the afternoon of Tuesday, November 24th with school resuming Monday, November 30th. Winter break runs from December 18th through January 5th.
