Anita C. Driffill, 80, of rural Galesburg, died at 6:50 p.m. October 28, 2020 at home.

Anita was born March 28, 1940 in Indiana, the daughter of George and Grace (Spires) Youngstrand.  Anita is survived by one son, Bill Smith of Galesburg; a daughter, Donna (Bill) Broadwell of Sherman, TX; two granddaughters; and one brother, Larry Youngstrand, Sr. of California City, CA.  She was preceded in death by one grandduaghter.

Anita worked as an assembler at Maytag for over 30 years.  Anita was a faithful Christian and enjoyed praying for others.  She also enjoyed shopping.

Cremation will be accorded.  Private family burial will be at North Henderson Cemetery, North Henderson, IL.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Online expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.watsonthomas.com
