Frank E. Wells, 89, of Galesburg, died at 7:14 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2020, in Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center.

He was born December 6, 1930, at home in Marietta, Illinois, the son of Phillip E. and Laura (McDermet) Wells.

He is survived by two sisters, Nora Harding of Cameron and Verna (Arthur) Dinwiddie of Berwick; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and five sisters.

Frank worked as a farmhand in his younger years.  After moving to Galesburg, he worked in maintenance/housekeeping for St. Mary’s Hospital for 18 years before retiring.  He was of Protestant faith.  Frank enjoyed collective pictures of classic cars, but especially loved playing Bingo.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020, in Marietta Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is honored to serve the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
