Enjoy A Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner Being Prepared by Highpoint Church

Thanksgiving will look a little different this year. The community Thanksgiving dinner at the Monmouth American Legion for the local community put on by Highpoint Church will be pick-up and delivery style due to the coronavirus. Martha Dakin shares how to get your free traditional Thanksgiving meal this year:

“Delivery is going to start at 11:00 a.m. on the Thursday morning. If folks would like delivery, here is the number to call 309-220-2108. They can call for delivery and they can also call to make a reservation for pick-up. Call 309-220-2108 and actually say ‘This is my name. This is how many people are in my family. I would like to stop by at noon, at 11:30, or whenever they would like too.’ Pick-up will start at 11:30 a.m. Delivery will be 11 to 1:30. Pick-up is 11:30 to 1:30 and that is an extended time,” Dakin says.

Last year 587 Thanksgiving meals were served at the Community Dinner.
