Illinois Falls To Purdue
(Champaign, IL) — Illinois’ comeback effort fell short in a 31-24 loss to the Purdue at Memorial Stadium on Saturday. The Illini trailed the Boilermakers 31-10 late in the third quarter before scoring 14 unanswered points. Coran Taylor threw for 273 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions for Illinois, which dropped to 0-and-2. The Illini hosts Minnesota on Saturday.

Iowa Clipped By Northwestern
(Iowa City, IA) — Northwestern scored the go-ahead touchdown midway through the fourth quarter as it clipped Iowa 21-20 at Kinnick Stadium. Spencer Petras completed 26 of 50 for 216 yards and a touchdown but threw three interceptions in the loss. Tyler Goodson ran a tuchdown for the Hawkeyes, who drop to 0-and-2.
