Macomb invited to join Prairieland Confernce

The Macomb Bombers has been invited to join the Prairieland conference in all sports starting next school year. The Praireland had already invited Macomb and West Hancock to join the conference for the 2021 football season. And now that will be for all sports. Abingdon-Avon and Knoxville will be leaving the Prairieland for the Lincoln Trail conference, opening the doors to keep Macomb and West Hancock. The other schools in the Prairieland Conference include, Bushnell-Prairie City, Farmington, Elmwood-Brimfield, Havana, Lewistown, North Fulton, South Fulton, Illini West, Rushville-Industry and Peoria Heights.

Macomb Athletic Director Steve Horrell will take the request to the Macomb School Board to seek approval at the November 16th board meeting.
