Mary L. Miller 96 of Monmouth, IL passed away at 8:15 p.m., on Tuesday,
November 10, 2020 at her residence.  Mary was born September 2, 1924 in
Monmouth and was the daughter of Oscar L. Johnson Sr., and Alma Knuth. 
Mary was raised in Monmouth where she attended Immaculate Conception
School and graduated from Monmouth High School.  Mary was married to
Donald E. Miller on January 23, 1943 in Kahoka, Missouri.  Mary began
her working career as an operator for the General Phone Company.  When
Don came back from World War II, Mary helped Don establish and run Don
Miller Heating and Air Conditioning for 70 years.  Mary enjoyed cooking,
sewing, gardening, ballroom dancing, going to their cabin at Delabar
Park in Oquawka and dedicated her life to her family. Mary is survived
by her two daughters, their families and her three sisters.  Mary is
preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, one sister, five
brothers and two infant twin sisters.

A graveside service for Mary is planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, November
13, 2020 at Monmouth Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Due to the
Covid-19 pandemic, masks are required and social distancing is
encouraged. A memorial is being established for the Strom Center in
