Throughout the month of December, the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging the community to support local businesses and restaurants by utilizing a Holiday BINGO game, which begins Monday, November 30th and will run four weeks. Executive Director David Wise explains how gameplay will be done:
“Each week we will have a new BINGO card. We have 24 restaurants and small businesses around Monmouth that are participating. This was just a way to kind of make it fun and boost some extra sales for our local small businesses. You will go around to the businesses and make your purchase as a $10 minimum purchase for each BINGO space and then the following Monday you can bring your cards to the Chamber of Commerce. We will offer curbside service if you do not want to get out of your car, but come to the facilities and we will come out and get your card, we will verify it, and then you will be able to get a gift card. We have 25 $20 gift cards that will be available each week. The gift cards will be from all the participating businesses and will be a first come first serve for the prizes,” Wise explains.
Receipts of purchase from participating businesses must we kept to verify winning BINGO cards. The BINGO cards can be picked up each week at the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce or found on the Chamber’s social media platforms.
