The Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 3rd annual Christmas on the Square COVID-style. This community event will be held Friday, December 4th from 5:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. CLICK HERE to print the registration form and return to the Chamber at 89 Public Square or e-mail to kelli@monmouthilchamber.com. REGISTRATION FORMS & APPROVAL ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT.
- Game cards will be available for purchase for $10.00 per family at the Chamber office or at the night of the event. Go find the hidden reindeer or play the reindeer games, have your card punched at 9 participating locations, bring it back to the Chamber to be entered for a grand prize drawing.
- There will be a live reindeer with a sleigh for a family photo opportunity.
- There will be a North Pole Mailbox for kids to drop in their letters to Santa.
- The classic 1964 Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will be played on the outdoor movie wall at the Pattee Plaza Park, every hour, on the hour starting at 5:00 p.m. with the last show beginning at 8:00 p.m. Please bring your own seating, wear masks, and practice social distancing.
- There will be an outdoor holiday vendor market. Anyone can set up their 10×10 space for $20.00 (no electricity provided). Registration form is required but excited for our community to set up and sell their goods.
- Any business or organization wishing to have a Holiday open house will need to also need to submit their plan for approval on the registration form, and there is no charge for business open houses.
- There will be a silent auction hosted in the Chamber of Commerce meeting room. There will be several themed baskets to bid on.
- If your business or organization would like to volunteer, we’d like people at each business to help business owners keep their occupancy levels at no more than 10 occupants at a time inside their businesses.
