Cardinals Decline To Tender Contracts To Brebbia And Ravelo

(St. Louis, MO)  —  The Cardinals are clearing two spots on their roster by declining to tender offers to reliever John Brebbia and infielder Rangel Ravelo.  Both players are now free agents.  St. Louis tendered contracts to their five other arbitration-eligible players, including pitchers Jack Flaherty, Jordan Hicks, Alex Reyes and John Gant, as well as center fielder Harrison Bader.  The Cards roster now stands at 37.
