The NRCS office has supported a grant for the Soil and Water Conservation Districts to hire a survey aide in Henderson County says District Conservationist Cathy Froelich:

“I have a new employee in Henderson County, Meredith Stamberger-Alexander. She lives outside of Biggsville. We are real excited about that. It is a three year program, so Meredith will be with us. We will be training her and you will be seeing another individual out in the fields this spring.”

Meanwhile, the EQUIP program deadline is January 8th. Also, the local NRCS and FSA offices are back to conducting business by phone. Contact the offices at 734-9308.
